Los Sauces Hotel, is a luxury inn located in El Calafate, Argentina’s Patagonia.

ITB Berlin-2008 recognized Argentina as a promising destination

The ITB-2008 (International Tourism Exchange), held from 05 to 11 this month in Berlin, Germany, prize the work done by Argentina regarding the stand and communication strategy tourism.
The prize includes the innovative and functional design of the stand, its communication strategy, the level of information provided and the potential for supply business in tourism.
It also recognizes “the tourism image, the level of persuasion, activities and cultural expressions and evaluation of the audience” to the fair, said the communiqué from INPROTUR (National Institute of Tourism).

Masters of Foods and Wine arrived to Argentina

Masters of Food and WineMasters of Food and Wine is an interesting annual conference of foodies. Organized by Park Hyatt International, Masters of Wine and Food was a conference spanning a week of events in Buenos Aires and Mendoza. This year made a huge splash in Argentine wine country. The party that kicked off the week of wine, cheese, and culinary delights was celebrate at the Hyatt’s Palacio Duhau in Buenos Aires’ elegant neighborhood of Recoleta.

Tasting delights was a hit and attracted a great-looking, relaxed crowd of Argentines and all around the world. The elegant spread of cheeses, fruit and fresh baked bread were accessory to the star of the show at the Hyatt – Argentine wines. Four candlelit rooms staffed with wine representatives and chefs in full regalia catered to the whims of guests who made their way through the spread to the back of the Palacio Duhau to the gardens, for further fantastic tastings.
